I really don't know where to start with this one because there's just so much...good going on at once. Everything looks just right, and the minute I noticed the thumbnail casually meandering down the browse page, I just had to jump in and take a closer look at it. I tell you, though the thumbnail was captivating, it still fails to do justice for the goodness of the whole piece.

What is it that makes me like this one so much, though? Is it the moonlight glinting off the edges of his cape? The muscles that pulse on the canvas with power and potence? Is it that dominating stare, a look that can knock a man back in his seat, and conveys a "try me, I dare you" expression? I think it's everything. It all meshes together so nicely, so...distinctly. It's a skill I seldom see in modern comic book art. I see so much of "focus and detail on one particular element" but never so much of "all around appeal on every square inch of canvas." I can rarely look at something, especially on amateur websites like this, and say "you know what, that's incredibly professional looking."

I fail to focus on a single element on this and call it the highlight. It all works together nicely in a powerful, balanced composition worthy of all the praise it gets. Tenfold.

Very nice moon light. I really like the fact it surrounds him and adds a great atmosphere, the colouring is very pro and it seems particle has definitley rubbed off on your colouring style Nice work on the utility belt and the colouring of his mask and cape as black can be very hard to look good without it being too blue or bending with the inked lines too much. My only suggestion for when you go over this would to be do harsher shading on his blue/grey bodysuit along his leg and anywhere the cape is blocking moonlight, as if the darkness really does envelop him That way you will have extremes of dark and light colouring that would make it stand out even more! I also have to say I like some of your other Colouring sigs better than the plain text one The lighting on the mask just rocks, great work on the coolest superhero there is!
